Aunt Margaret'S Hamburg Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 cans tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Cook macaroni;\tadd
    a little butter in the pot.
    Brown beef and
    onion;
    sprinkle
    with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Add 1 1/3 cups cheese.
    Heat and add tomato sauce and macaroni.
    Pour into
    a
    greased 9 x 13-inch pan; sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
