Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Jiffy cornbread mix
1 egg
1/3 cup milk, plus 2 Tbsp.
1/4 cup chopped jalapenos
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup crumbled crispy bacon, reserving grease
1/3 cup finely chopped onions
Preparation

Mix corn muffin mix with egg and milk.
Use bacon grease to grease muffin pans.
Blend in peppers, cheese, bacon and onions. Fill muffin cups about half full.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 12 muffins.
