Hot Fruit Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can each: peaches, pears, apricots, plums and applesauce
    1 small can pineapple chunks
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    sliced or slivered almonds
Preparation
    Drain all fruit except applesauce and place in large bowl.
