Ingredients

4 medium eggs
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour and baking powder.
Add all at once to the cooked mixture.
Mix until blended.
Stir in pecans or walnuts and vanilla.
Turn into well-greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in medium oven at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until it springs back when touched lightly in the center with the fingertips.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream or sprinkle while warm with confectioners sugar.
