    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
    2/3 c. chopped raisins
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. allspice
    3/4 tsp. mace
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease generously and dust with flour three 9 inch round cake pans.
