Big Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. all-purpose flour (reserve 1/2 c.)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
4 Tbsp. grated orange rind
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan and set aside.
Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
