Canadian Cake Mayonnaise - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. salt
4 oz. or 5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the mayonnaise.
Add other ingredients and the water. Bake in a lined-tin on 350\u00b0 and reduce heat to 300\u00b0.
Bake for 3/4 to 1 hour until cake is dry when tested with a knife.
(This makes a large cake.
Half the quantity in a loaf pan, makes a fair-sized cake.)
