Sliced Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. pickles
    3 1/2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cut pickles into sticks.
    Pour boiling water over sticks and let stand 4 hours.
    Drain and dry.
    Mix together remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a hard boil and boil 5 minutes.
    Pour over pickles and seal tightly.
