Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
    1 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped sweet onion
    1/2 green pepper, slivered
    1/2 red pepper, slivered
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Cut through sauerkraut several times.
    Combine kraut with celery, onions and green and red peppers.
    Dissolve sugar in oil and vinegar.
    Pour over vegetables and toss.
    Chill for several hours or overnight.
    Stir occasionally.
