Great Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large baking potatoes
2/3 c. butter or margarine
2/3 c. all purpose flour
7 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 whole green onions, chopped
12 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
1 1/4 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Wash potatoes and
prick with a fork.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Let cool.
Cut in half lengthwise and scoop out pulp.
Melt butter in large heavy saucepan over low heat.
Add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook mixture 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly and slightly thickened.
