German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-4 strips of bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    7-8 potatoes
Preparation
    Cook potatoes with jackets on. Cut bacon in small pieces. Fry. Remove bacon. Saute onions in fat. Stir in flour and salt. Add sugar, vinegar and water. Bring to a boil. Add bacon pieces and pour over the cut and cooled potatoes. Make ahead and reheat for better flavor.
