Grandma'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. flour
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. flour
Preparation
    Sift together 2 cups flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Blend in eggs and vanilla; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and sugar mixture alternately to bananas, mixing just until blended.
    Combine pecans and 1 teaspoon flour; stir into batter.
    Pour into greased 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 - 50 minutes, or until bread tests done.
    Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and place on rack.
    Makes one loaf.
