"Mom'S" Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fat hen
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut up hen.
    Saute.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Cover with water; cook until tender.
    Mix flour, salt, baking powder and eggs.
    Mix in approximately 1 cup of chicken broth from cooked chicken.
    Roll out dough; cut in 1 1/2-inch strips.
    Bring chicken broth to boil and drop dumplings into boiling chicken broth.
    Do this hurriedly, and dumplings will be done almost immediately.
    Shake pepper over finished product.
