Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can apricots
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot gelatin
    2 c. hot water
    2 c. fruit juices
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped or 1 pkg. Dream Whip
    1 large can pineapple (optional)
    grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Drain apricots and mandarin oranges (and pineapple).
    Reserve juices.
    Chop apricots.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water; add 1 cup reserved juice with apricots, oranges and marshmallows.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Blend sugar, flour, egg, butter and remaining 1 cup juice.
    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Chill.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Spread over firm gelatin.
    Chill and serve.
    Makes 15 servings.
