Tenderizing Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable oil
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. paprika
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add rest of ingredients (pour liquids over, shake on seasonings).
    This is a tenderizing marinade; bake meat, covered, slowly for a long time, depending on the quantity. Add water if needed.
    Juice may be made into gravy by adding 1/2 cup water mixed with
    1 tablespoon cornstarch and simmering.
