Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple and juice
    3 bananas, mashed
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Drain juice from pineapple.
    Mix mashed bananas in juice; let stand at least 5 minutes.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    When gelatin is cool, add strawberries, pineapple and banana mixture. Blend well.
    Spread 1/2 in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Chill.
    Whip together cream cheese and sour cream; spread over chilled mixture. Top with remaining gelatin-fruit mixture.
    Chill.
    Serves 12 to 15.
