Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 apples
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    Wash and cut up apples, seeds, skin and all.
    Add water and salt.
    Cook slow until done.
    Put through coarse strainer.
    Add spice to taste and sweetener or leave plain.
    Serves 8 to 10.
