Onion Roasted Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. thyme leaves (optional)
    2 lb. all-purpose potatoes, quartered
Preparation
    In shallow baking or roasting pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients, except potatoes.
    Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly.
    Bake, stirring potatoes occasionally, for 60 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
    Can be garnished with parsley.
