Caramel Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. instant oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (11 oz.) jar caramel topping
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Mix oatmeal, pecans, caramel toping, margarine and brown sugar.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool.
    Crumble mixture.
    Leave 3/4 of crumbled mixture in pan.
    Spread softened ice cream over mixture.
    Sprinkle remaining crumbled mixture on top.
    Freeze.
    Serve frozen.
