Brisket In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    whole brisket beef, well trimmed of fat
    4 large onions, sliced
    4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    12 oz. can full bodied beer
Preparation
    Place layer of onions and half of the garlic in a shallow roasting pan.
    Add brisket.
    Top with remaining onions and garlic. Pour beer over all and seal pan.
    Place in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 and roast for 3 to 4 hours.
    Remove meat from pan; keep warm.
    If desired, thicken drippings or serve as is.
    Serves 8 to 12.
