Ham Paprikash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms (optional)
    1 lb. cubed cooked ham (about 1 3/4 c.)
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    3 c. uncooked noodles
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    water
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter.
    Add onion and mushrooms; saute for 3 minutes.
    Add ham and seasonings; cook for 3 more minutes.
    Place noodles (uncooked) on top of mixture.
    Add enough water to broth to make 2 cups.
    Pour broth into skillet; heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Uncover and simmer 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Fold in sour cream and heat.
