Pasta Salad-Italian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped red sweet pepper
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. sliced black olives
    4 sliced scallions
    2 medium tomatoes, chopped and seeded
    4 to 6 slices salami, diced
    4 to 6 slices ham, diced
    4 to 6 slices Provolone cheese, diced
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. pasta (penne, shells or wheels)
    1/2 c. red wine Vinaigrette Italian salad dressing
    1/2 c. low-fat mayonnaise
Preparation
    Boil, drain and cool pasta.
    Chop vegetables and olives and mix into pasta.
    Chop meats and cheeses and add to pasta, mixing well.
    In a separate bowl or jar, combine Vinaigrette dressing with mayonnaise; mix well.
    Stir this mixture into pasta salad. Mix and add extra dressing, if needed.
    If making this in advance, do not add scallions until you are ready to serve it.
    Homemade Italian dressing with fresh chopped basil leaves works especially well with this recipe.
