Easy Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 lb. chuck roast
    1 pkg. Lipton onion-mushroom soup mix
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown beef in hot oil in a 5-quart Dutch oven.
    Add soup mix and water; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours. Vegetables may be added (potatoes, carrots and onions) if desired after 3 hours.
    You cannot overcook this beef.
    Add water, if necessary, during cooking.
    I make gravy by adding flour mixed with water to liquid after removing meat.
