Texas Barbecue Pasta Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. finely chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 2/3 c. crushed tomatoes (15 oz. can)
    1 c. tomato sauce (8 oz. can)
    5 tsp. molasses
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. red hot sauce
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. Skinner spaghetti (uncooked) or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Skinner Lone Star pasta (uncooked)
Preparation
    In large skillet heat oil.
    Saute onion, green pepper and garlic until tender, but not brown.
    Blend in remaining ingredients except pasta.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
    Serve sauce over hot cooked pasta.
    Makes 6 servings.
