Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Add oats to buttermilk and baking soda.
    Let stand 5 minutes. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Add eggs and oil to oat mixture.
    Make as regular pancakes.
    Yield 14 to 16 pancakes.
