Frosted Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 pkg. unsweetened strawberry Kool-Aid
    1 large can evaporated milk, chilled
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Heat sugar, water and Kool-Aid until syrupy; cool.
    Whip evaporated milk and lemon juice until 3 times original volume. Fold in Kool-Aid mixture and freeze.
    Add ginger ale and strawberries to milk; freeze when ready to serve.
    If thicker punch is desired, increase amount of milk freeze in proportion to ginger ale.
