"After Church" Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 stalks chopped celery
    4 sliced carrots
    2 small sliced onions
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 can water
    3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
Preparation
    Put beef in 3-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with salt, basil and pepper.
    Top with celery, carrots and onions.
    Combine soup and water.
    Pour over meat and vegetables.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3
    hours.
    Add potatoes and bake 45 more minutes.
