Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg whites
    2/3 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Stir sugar, corn syrup and water over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Without stirring, drop small amount in cold water until it forms a hard ball.
    Beat egg whites until peaks form, pouring hot syrup in a thin stream into egg whites; add vanilla. Beat until mixture holds its shape and becomes slightly dull; fold in nuts.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
