Cherry Nut Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. sugar
16 oz. jar maraschino cherries
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
1 1/2 glasses sour cream

Preparation

Mix walnuts, cinnamon and 4 tablespoons sugar; set aside. Drain cherries.
Cut cherries in halves and set aside.
Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Cream butter with 1 cup sugar.
Add vanilla and eggs; mix well.
Add flour mixture and sour cream.
