Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. rolled oats
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. scalded milk
    1 egg
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix rolled oats, brown sugar, salt and shortening.
    Pour boiling water and scalded milk over this.
    Let cool.
