Potato Soup With Butter Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    4 c. water
    3 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    salt to taste
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. butter, softened
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of ground nutmeg
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute onion in 1/4 cup butter in large saucepan until tender. Add water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add potatoes, celery, salt to taste, pepper and parsley.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
