Baker'S Original German Sweet Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour*
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. butter
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    *Or 2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour.
