Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift all dry ingredients together.
Mix with creamed mixture.
Chill thoroughly and roll out.
Use cookie cutters you desire.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
Frost and decorate.
