Cheesy Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    paprika
    4 medium tomatoes, sliced
    6 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Set power on High.
    In micro-safe dish, heat onions, covered, for 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes.
    Stir in salt, basil and pepper.
    In small bowl, melt butter; stir in bread crumbs and paprika.
    In 2-quart casserole dish, alternately layer half the tomatoes, onions and cheese; top with remaining tomatoes, onions and cheese. Place bread crumb mixture on top and cook, covered, on High for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Standing time 5 minutes.
