Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves (scant)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. hot applesauce

Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar, egg and then dry ingredients alternately with hot applesauce.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
