Chocolate Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
    12 (2.05 oz.) milk chocolate candy bars
    3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and water in a Dutch oven.
    Cook over low heat until it reaches hard-crack stage (300\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and immediately pour onto 2 buttered 12-inch pizza pans, spreading to edge of pans.
