Baked Chicken With Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. water
    1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    seasonings to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven at 400\u00b0.
    Place chicken, skin side up, in ungreased rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
    Mix soup mix (dry), mushroom soup and water; pour over chicken.
    Cover and bake for approximately 50 minutes.
    Spoon mushrooms over chicken and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
