Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs (one at a time)
    2 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients (sugar through eggs) in large mixing bowl with electric mixer.
    Separately mix coloring and cocoa and add to first mixture.
    Separately mix last 3 ingredients and then add them to previous mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 28 minutes in three greased and floured cake pans.
    Top with French Frosting.
