Easy Chicken With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 thighs or 1 whole chicken, cut up
    flour
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. oil or shortening
    1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. sliced green or red peppers (optional)
    1/2 c. dry white wine or cooking wine
    2 Tbsp. sliced onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 tsp. tarragon, crushed
    1 Tbsp. parsley, minced
Preparation
    Coat rinsed chicken pieces with flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook in hot oil or shortening approximately 15 minutes, or until brown. Drain off fat.
    Add mushrooms, white wine, onion, garlic and tarragon, parsley and peppers, if desired.
    Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    Serve over rice, noodles or cooked potatoes.
