Caramel Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. quick oatmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 c. melted oleo
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips
32 caramels
5 tsp. evaporated milk
Preparation

Mix flour, oatmeal, salt, sugar, soda and oleo until crumbly. Then press half of the mixture in a 7 1/2 x 11-inch pan.
Bake 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over baked crumbs.
Melt caramels with evaporated milk and pour over top of other ingredients.
Sprinkle remaining crumbly mixture over top and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
