Spicy Beef Dip For Tortilla Chips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 (3 oz.) can tomato paste
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. sugar
    red pepper (optional)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/3 c. Parmesan
Preparation
    Microwave in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Saute beef, onion and garlic 4 to 6 minutes, stirring twice.
    Drain; stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, oregano and sugar.
    Cover and cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring twice.
    Add cream cheese and Parmesan and stir until cream cheese melts.
    Serve warm with nacho chips.
    Makes 3 cups dip.
