Pineapple Raisin Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (butter is best but can use margarine)
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cut raisins
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and brown sugar.
    Add egg and mix well.
    Sift dry ingredients and dredge fruit with part.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, then add fruit and nuts.
    Last add vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and cook about 10 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Freezes very well.
