Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round or chuck (1-inch thick)
    2 (8 oz.) cans (2 c.) tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Coat meat with mixture. Brown meat slowly on both sides in hot oil.
    Combine next 5 ingredients and pour over meat.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Add onions.
    Put into casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until fork-tender.
    Serves 6.
