Oyster Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. Chesapeake oysters
    3 tsp. butter
    2 c. oyster liquid
    1 medium onion, cut fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. water
    1 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3 potatoes, cut fine
Preparation
    Wash oysters, reserving liquid.
    Place oysters, 3 teaspoons butter, liquid and water in saucepan.
    Add potato and onion; cut fine.
    Cook over low heat until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1/2 cup milk slowly before serving.
    Yields 4 servings.
    A good first course in any meal.
