Ingredients

1/3 c. self-rising flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. coconut
1 cooked pie shell
Preparation

Mix all ingredients; add milk, vanilla and egg yolks.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly.
When mixture begins to thicken, add margarine.
Filling is done when thick and forms a peak.
Add coconut and put in pie shell.
Use egg whites to make meringue. Brown meringue in oven.
