Pudding Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cold light cream or half and half
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla or chocolate flavor instant pudding
    3 1/2 c. (8 oz.) Cool Whip topping, thawed
Preparation
    Pour cold cream into bowl.
    Add pudding mix.
    With electric mixer at low speed, beat until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fold in whipped topping.
    Pour into 2-quart covered plastic container.
    Freeze until firm, about 6 hours.
