Tomato-Corn Chowder (Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1/2 c. grated onion
    4 c. cubed raw potatoes
    2 c. water
    3 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. whole kernel corn
    4 c. tomato juice or can of tomato soup, diluted with water
Preparation
    Cook bacon and onion until bacon is crisp.
    Add potatoes, water and seasoning.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Add corn and tomato juice (I use soup).
    Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
