Hawaiian Punch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 white cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 c. coconut
    whipped topping
    nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake mix in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool; punch holes in top. Boil sugar and pineapple with juice, then pour over cake.
    Mix the pudding with milk.
    Add coconut.
    Chill slightly.
    Pour over pineapple topping; let cool.
    Cover with whipped topping; top with nuts.
