White Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    cracked pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1/4 c. white wine
Preparation
    Melt butter and stir in flour.
    Add salt and pepper; add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 2 tablespoons hot sauce to the cold beaten egg yolk, then return this to the hot mixture.
    Stir briskly.
    Add wine and also stir briskly.
