Mama'S Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust, baked
    3 eggs (reserve whites)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk or water
    3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    1 large lemon (juice and grated rind)
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add other ingredients and cook over hot water until mixture is of jelly-like consistency.
    Pour into pie crust. Cover with meringue and bake in a slow oven at 300\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
